“I found this book to be very motivational, informative and intriguing. Packed with step-by-step techniques and strategies on how to de-clutter your home and begin your new life as a focused individual who has gotten rid of useless things from our past, so they can focus on the present and move on to a happy more productive future. PSYCHIC DEBRIS: The Relationship Between the Stuff in Your Head and What’s Under Your Bed is filled with fabulous insight on what clutter really is and what it means in our lives. When people walk into a home packed with clutter we think, “Oh, they must like to collect, they don’t like to let go, they’re hoarders!” However, Lark goes further and much deeper to explain why some people have a problem with clutter.
Regina Lark’s book, “PSYCHIC DEBRIS: The Relationship Between the Stuff in Your Head and What’s Under Your Bed,” gave me the insights to understand that the clutter we create in our life can stem from our childhood experiences, tragic events in our lives, negative friends and even from low-self-esteem.
The questions are, “How does one get past the clutter, so they can move on with their life? How does one cope with these obstacles? Do they let the negative things that happen to them in their life get the best of them and hold them back from becoming the best they can be?”
How can someone focus and move on with their lives when they have so much clutter and things from their past pulling them backwards? How are they supposed to move forward?
This is what Regina Lark’s book; PSYCHIC DEBRIS: The Relationship Between the Stuff in Your Head and What’s Under Your Bed teaches you how to do. Regina Lark teaches you in this book how to turn your life around in a step-by-step regimen that is easy to do and very self-rewarding.
Regina begins the book by briefly telling you about her life and what led her to become a professional organizer. She explains how powerful our mind is and how our negative thoughts can destroy us if we let them. What is great about this book is that at the end of each chapter she asks you a question and leaves a space for you to write your thoughts down. This helps the reader to slowly understand what’s going on inside them and as the book goes on she supplies you with powerful tools and techniques to improve your life by getting rid of the past, focusing on the present and planning productive goals for the future.
Lark teaches you how to redefine the true meaning of success and gives you the motivational tools to strengthen yourself and accomplish your dreams. Who said our dreams could not become our reality? If Walt Disney did it, so can you. He had a dream, he went after his dream and he made his dream become his reality.
As you enter the other chapters, she discusses the theories of why so many of us put things off to the point where many stay stagnant in life and never progress and move forward. She helps you figure out your reasons for putting off things and shows you how to stop putting things off and how to start doing.
She shows you in this book how easy it is to de-clutter and create a clear pathway to a happy, healthy, more productive future.
Regina Lark’s approach helped me realize that WE control our lives and when we realize we have a problem, we must accept our problem and focus on the positive. “I can fix this problem and in the end I will improve my life and the way I feel about myself.” We can change the way we think and feel by focusing on the positive, not making excuses to hold off and by creating change. We need to rely on ourselves because no one is going to do it for us unless of course we invite and hire Regina to help us!
This book shows you how to change and it advocates a better way of living. In addition, through reading this book I realize no matter what age you are you can transform your life and create the life you always wanted for yourself. You can de-clutter your home, your mind and your life at any point in life. Change is always possible, but you have to want to change and if you don’t want change or you are afraid of change I assure you after reading this book you will be up for the challenge.
Regina Lark’s book is an excellent book that I highly recommend to others.”
